How to tell Google to stop showing you targeted ads
Google has made this process easy, simply visit the site http://www.google.com/ads/preferences/view to OPT-OUT of their interest based ads. I actually turned mine back on, because I want to see what is being advertised. However, for most users, you may want to turn it off!
